There are days when I simply don’t feel strong and things feel so heavy. Life can become overwhelming, and sometimes I feel like I don’t have anything left to give. In those moments, I remind myself that I don’t have to rely on my own strength. I can turn to God and ask Him to carry me when I feel weak. If you’re feeling the same way today, I hope this prayer encourages you to lean on Him and remember that His strength is always enough.

Heavenly Father, today I come before you asking for strength. Some days the weight I carry feels heavier than I can bear, and my heart grows tired. When fear, anxiety, or discouragement try to take hold, remind me that I do not have to face them alone. You promise to be my refuge and my strength, and I choose to place my trust in you. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on you instead of my circumstances, knowing that your grace is sufficient for every challenge I face.
Lord, fill me with courage when I feel weak, peace when my mind is restless, and hope when I struggle to see what lies ahead. Give me the strength to keep moving forward one step at a time, even when the path feels difficult. Help me to lean on you each day, trusting that you are working all things together for good. Thank you for never leaving me, for carrying me when I cannot walk on my own, and for reminding me that with you, I am stronger than I could ever be by myself. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
If you’re feeling weighed down by anxiety or depression today, I pray this encourages you. You may also find comfort in my post on Bible Verses for Depression.
“My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
